Your privacy is the whole point

QueryQuarry is a double-blind escrow marketplace — your identity is revealed last, and only by your choice:

Recruiters search and evaluate you anonymously — they see your skills, experience, and preferences, but not your name or contact.
Your name and contact are never handed to a recruiter by the platform. You stay anonymous until you choose to respond.
Your resume text is scrubbed of your name and contact details in what recruiters see before you connect.
Turn your visibility off anytime, or delete your profile entirely. Your data, your choice.
Every profile is explicitly consented — your data is never scraped or sold.

What recruiters can and can't see

On anonymous search results (any recruiter): your headline, a short summary, skills, seniority, employment types, total years of experience, salary range, city/region, availability, work authorization, and relocation preference. All free text is scrubbed of your name and any contact patterns first.

On a deeper evaluation (metered, still anonymous): everything above, plus your work history — titles, employers, and what you did — and your education (school, degree, field).

Never shown before you respond:

Your name — and it's actively scrubbed out of your headline, summary, and experience text.
Your email, phone, and links — any email, URL, or phone-shaped text is auto-redacted.
Your employment dates — recruiters see your total years of experience as a single number; the dates behind it are withheld.
Your graduation years — degrees and schools appear without dates, so education can't be used to guess your age.
Your resume file itself — recruiters only ever see structured profile fields, never the document you uploaded.

Only if you choose to respond: your identity and however you decide to reach out.

Preparing your resume — what you can leave off

Most resume advice assumes your document gets blasted into keyword filters and inboxes. Here it doesn't — the platform withholds identity and age signals for you, so your resume can be lighter than the one you'd send anywhere else:

Name and contact details: optional. We notify you at your account email. If they're on the file, they're never shared and get auto-redacted from anything recruiters see.
Street address: not needed. Matching uses city/region only.
Photo: pointless. We parse text only — images are never extracted, stored as part of your profile, or shared.
Graduation years: optional. They're never shown to recruiters either way.
Employment dates: keep at least rough ones. They help our parser order your history and mark your current role — but the dates themselves are never revealed. Recruiters see only your total years-of-experience number, which you can set yourself in the resume editor (worth doing: recruiters filter on it).
No keyword games. You're not sneaking past a filter here. Write your experience for a person deciding whether to reach out — recruiters' AIs filter on the structured fields you control (skills, preferences), not on how many times your resume repeats a magic word.

Stay fresh — it literally moves you up

Search results are ordered by recency: the most recently updated profiles come first. Updating your resume or preferences — even a small edit — floats you to the top of the searches you match. If it's been a while, a two-minute refresh is the single highest-impact thing you can do.

If recruiters evaluated your profile during the week, we'll send you a short weekly summary (counts only — never who). You can turn it off anytime in your account settings.
